Dear Cattlemen,
It is with a great deal of pride that we continue the heritage of raising good black Angus cattle started by my grandfather, Frank Josephson, over 100 years ago. He homesteaded near Washburn, ND in 1902 and bought his first Angus bull in 1914. Registered Angus bulls have been used ever since. The quality runs deep in our established cow families in the Josephson herd. I always look forward to each year’s calf crop and have seen the buzz and excitement generated by this year’s set of yearling and two-year-old bulls.
Visitors to the pasture this past summer have commented on the quality, uniformity and outstanding EPD’s found in this year’s offering. We have a good set of bulls in each sire group, starting with Basin Payweight 1682, EXAR Stetson 3704B, Brooking Bank Note 4040 and VAR Generation 2100 sons, and including bulls by ICC Pay Raise 4886, Quaker Hill Rampage OA36, SAV Renown 3439, Barstow Cash, Barstow Bank Roll and KCF Bennett Southside
This year we are featuring an outstanding set of yearling and two-year-old bulls for sale on March 22, 2019, at Kist Livestock, Mandan, ND. Come and see these top herd sire prospects! You can stop by anytime at Potterosa Farms, Redwood Falls, MN, to view the bulls. There should be bulls in everyone’s price range and you can buy with confidence from a program you can trust.
